Volume and Batch Production

3D Print Manufacturing

Over 75% of our production is supplying on-demand parts directly into the production schedules of our clients!

3D printed components are an increasingly popular choice for reducing stockholding, increasing design flexibility and reducing production lead times.

We’re bridging the gap where it isn’t economical to invest in the expensive tooling needed for injection molding, or where the flexibility to change designs, colours and materials as the needs of your products and customers change is paramount.  We’ve written some more about that in our article about why startups & SMEs are missing out by not exploiting 3D printing.

With industry leading in-house HP Multi Jet Fusion technology and a dedicated facility to provide the fastest and most reliable 3d printing service possible.  Trusted by global leaders in the automotive industry such as Jaguar Landrover and BMW, the HP MJF technology enables us to deliver the most effective 24/7 3D print manufacturing service in the market, providing end-use parts straight from the print volume!  We also provide deep dye colouring and polishing services to post process the MJF parts with an attractive durable finish.

Engineering, electronics, product development and startup organisations have all benefited from our volume 3d printing capability allowing us to provide the critical components in their products or manufacturing processes, usually at significantly lower cost to traditional manufacturing methods.  We’ve even supported one-off marketing and educational requirements with unique and engaging activities using 3D printing.

Volume FDM Manufacturing

Our FDM print farm can produce low cost FDM printed parts in a range of materials from recycled PLA, PETG and ABS, to carbon filled and specialist filaments in a range of colours.

FDM/FFF (Fused Deposition Modelling / Fused Filament Fabrication)

  • Produce parts using layers of filament from spools of plastic
  • Typically 0.1 to 0.3mm layer heights mean layers are easily visible
  • Requires support material for overhangs, so part design is important
  • Lower strength to alternative technologies such as MJF

Volume MJF Manufacturing

Our industry leading MJF capability is a 3d print manufacturing solution design from the ground up by Hewlett Packard.  We have multiple machines in-house and produce strong functional parts with the full flexibility of order a single part or large batches.

HP MJF (Hewlett Packard Multi Jet Fusion)

  • Produce strong functional parts
  • Complex part geometries with consistent surface quality
  • Natural grey or deep-dye colouring
  • Fast lead times with batches from as little as 3 days
  • Competitive pricing with volume discounts
