Our Operations
A first in the UK, Midlands 3D operates an automated HP MJF production facility, enabling our MJF machines to operate 24/7. This gives us one of, if not the most, efficient MJF capability in the country.
We operate on the joint principles of confidentiality and transparency. We own and operate all of the 3D print technologies we offer, with no sub-contracting or outsourcing, ensuring your IP is protected.
We are transparent in our pricing, making it possible for you to upload your files and receive a quote, even if you don’t yet have an account with us.
Lastly, we take a no-nonsense approach to service delivery. Everything we do is designed to build lasting, trusted and consultative relationships with our customers as their adoption of 3D printing grows.
Industries we support
Automotive
Midlands 3D are a trusted supplier of a wide range of parts to the automotive industry. Whether global OEMs, requiring on-time delivery of production ready parts to their assembly lines, or bespoke auto makers hand building in low volumes for the luxury and auto sports sectors, Midlands 3D is replied upon to deliver high quality repeatable parts. Healthcare
We regularly provide 3D Print services to a number of sectors in healthcare in both rigid Nylon PA12 and flexible TPU materials in both single and batch quantities. We have experience manufacturing many items for this sector including custom orthotics and other aids. Our MJF print, dying and finishing processes are certified compatible to the ISO10993 standard.

Engineering & Manufacturing
Use of 3D printing in engineering and manufacturing is exploding as designers take advantage of the unique capabilities 3D printing offers. Not just for prototyping, we regularly batch manufacture end-use parts alongside custom tools, jigs, formers, handlers and many other aids that make manufacturing processes more efficient.

Consumer Products
The quality and finish now possible with the print and technologies we offer mean 3D printing is now a very viable alternative to injection moulding, especially when speed to market is key, designs are still being enhanced, a range of custom products are needed, or volumes are still ramping.

Marine
Traditionally fabricating in GRP, wood and metal, the marine sector is quickly adopting 3D printing to both manufacture more efficiently, but also to produce better quality, more elegant designs. With a range of materials and processes available including flexible SLS TPU, luxury yacht builders and the sector more broadly, work with us to exploit a variety of 3D print opportunities in the sector.
